Delete your Packt account
You can delete your Packt account and its data at any time, either in the app or by email. Deletion is permanent.
In the app
iPhone
- Open Packt and go to Profile → Settings (the gear).
- Tap Delete account and confirm with Apple when asked.
This also revokes Packt's access to your Sign in with Apple credential.
Android
- Open Packt and go to Profile → Settings (the gear).
- Tap Delete account, then confirm.
By email
Email hello@garysylvester.co from the email address on your account (for Sign in with Apple with "Hide My Email", include the display name you used in Packt). We delete the account within 7 days and confirm by reply.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in.
- Your profile: display name, photo and bio.
- Your saved places, chat messages, check-ins and check-in photos.
- Your notification tokens and settings.
What is kept
Fines already recorded in a group are kept so the group's pot history stays accurate for the remaining members. They are no longer linked to your name and appear as "Deleted member". Nothing else is retained. See the Privacy Policy for details.
